Dr. Roula Merheb Melki is a pediatrician and neonatologist. She studied medicine at St. Joseph’s University in Beirut from 2001 to 2008. In 2008 she began her residency at Hotel-Dieu de France in Beirut – USJ University Hospital. In 2011 she moved to the Cleveland, United States of America, to continue her specialization in pediatrics and neonatology for another 5 years and completed her fellowship in 2016.
She then joined the team of the Hotel-Dieu de France in Beirut in April 2018 and became the coordinator of the neonatal intensive care unit.
Dr. Merheb subspecialty is to manage premature babies, those born before the 25th week of amenorrhea, as well as all other premature babies and other dysmaturity syndromes.
In parallel to her hospital specialty, Dr. Merheb Melki practices general paediatrics as well as the follow-up of premature babies long after they leave the hospital to improve the management of the possible consequences of their prematurity.
