Dr. Richard’s journey in medicine began at the prestigious University of St Andrews in Scotland and the University of Manchester in England, where he earned his BSc in Medical Science and MBChB in 2004. With over two decades of postgraduate clinical experience, he has developed extensive knowledge and expertise treating patients across a variety of specialties, culminating in his membership with the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP).

After serving as a Consultant in Family Medicine in the UK for over three years, Dr. Richard relocated with his family to the UAE in 2014. Over the past decade in Abu Dhabi, he has made significant contributions to esteemed institutions, including over seven years for the AHS (part of SEHA) and two years at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (CCAD). He is now joining the renowned JCI-accredited HSMC, where his commitment to exceptional patient care continues.

Dr. Richard is known for his outstanding patient satisfaction ratings, consistently delivering evidence-based, holistic care that places patients at the center of all he does. His dedication extends beyond general practice; he also has many years of experience as a team doctor for a Super League RFL team in the UK, bringing a unique perspective on sports medicine to his practice.

Passionate about the future of healthcare, Dr. Richard has a keen interest in innovative Medtech solutions and has served as an advisor for several Medtech companies, shaping the industry with his insights as a subject matter expert.
