Dr. Lea Semaan is an experienced Canadian trained consultant in family medicine with more than 10 years of experience working in primary care. She holds dual board certification in the USA and in Canada. She is a Fellow of the Canadian College of Family Physicians and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.
Her experience in Canada included running a very busy and diverse clinical practice for 8 years in Montreal, with more than a thousand patients under her direct care. During this time, she also served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Montreal, where she was heavily involved in the mentoring and training of Family Medicine residents and interns. Prior to joining Harley Street Medical Centre, she held a busy practice in a community clinic setting at Mediclinic Springs in Dubai.
Dr. Lea deals with a wide spectrum of medical issues and complaints including acute and chronic paediatric and adult disorders, preventive health issues, periodic screening, executive health, children and adult immunizations, musculoskeletal complaints, dermatological disorders and more. She adopts a holistic, patient-centered approach, and enjoys treating the entire family, from birth to old age. She always keeps up to date on the latest medical advances, guidelines and innovations in Europe and North America thereby offering her patients modern, efficient, world-class, ethical and evidence-based healthcare.
