Orthopaedic trauma refers to injuries affecting the bones, joints, and soft tissues due to accidents or traumatic incidents.

Welcome to our Harley Street Orthopaedic Trauma center, where our team of experienced orthopaedic & Trauma surgeons, nurses, and physiotherapists provide specialized orthopaedic trauma services to individuals who have experienced musculoskeletal injuries.

Our orthopaedic consultants all have training in trauma surgery. Prof Cannon was the head of orthopaedic trauma at the main trauma hospital in Abu Dhabi. He and Dr Butcher have higher research degrees in trauma. Dr. Barrios is a Fellow of the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology  (FEBOT) and completed a Travelling Trauma Fellowship awarded by a renowned Trauma Association (AO-International, Switzerland). With a focus on expert care and prompt treatment, our team is committed to helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life.

Our experienced orthopaedic & trauma specialists conduct thorough assessments to determine the extent and severity of the damage. X-rays, ultrasound, CT and MRI (all available at HSMC), and other diagnostic tools aid in accurate diagnoses.

They have the required experience to determine those conditions which can be managed without surgery. If surgery is necessary, our skilled orthopaedic surgeons perform procedures with precision and expertise. From fractures and dislocations to complex joint injuries, we offer a wide range of surgical options to address most orthopaedic trauma conditions (some multiply injured patients are best managed in the admitting hospital). In addition, we also have a vascular and plastic surgeons if required. Osteoporosis assessment and treatment is also available to reduce the risk of fractures.

Post-surgery, rehabilitation and physiotherapy play a crucial role in restoring mobility and strength. Our clinic offers tailored rehabilitation programs to help patients regain function, improve range of motion, and reduce pain. Our physiotherapists provide personalized guidance and support to facilitate optimal recovery.
