Dr Syed Gilani is a certified Fellow of the Royal College of England (FRCS) in Urology. Primarily, he did his postgraduation in Urology from the College of physicians and surgeons of Pakistan. He has worked as an Assistant Professor of Urology at the Muzaffarabad medical college and has been involved in the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate students. He is eligible for supervision of post-graduate training in Urology under registration with the college of physicians and surgeons of Pakistan. His field of interest includes General and endourology, uro-oncology, female functional and neuro-urology, genitourinary reconstruction especially urogenital fistulae, and stone disease.
He has over 15 years of clinical experience in urology. He has worked in various hospitals around the globe and is quite familiar with cultural differences in various communities. He recently returned from a regional cancer centre in the UK and has gained vast experience in urinary tract cancers. He has a special interest in teaching and clinical research.
