I have been following a physiotherapy treatment with Ms. Neda to recover from an Achilles tendon torn injury which has been very successful to date.
First sessions were focused on reducing inflammation while helping the injure to heal, through different techniques from Laser to Electricity, etc. When inflammation was moderate, started strengthening and increasing the flexibility.
During the first weeks the mobility range of the injured leg was very limited, Ms. Neda combined mobilization exercises with stretching and supervised localized workouts in the gym and applying techniques to relax the calves and surrounding muscles to reduce stiffness. Now the mobility range of both legs is the same which is directly translated in a normal life when it comes to walking at any pace, climb stairs etc, while continue the progressive exercises to recover muscle mass and strength.
