Dr. Antoine Abchee is an American Board Certified Non Invasive Cardiologist with a special interest in Preventive Cardiology and Cardiac Imaging.
He obtained his Medical Degree from the American University of Beirut in 1990. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He then did a Cardiomyopathy Research Fellowship and a Cardiology Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, USA. This was followed by additional training in Advanced Cardiac Imaging at Baylor College of Medicine, The Wisconsin Heart Hospital, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Friedrich-Alexander University Hospital Erlangen-Nuremberg, Erlangen, Germany.
Dr. Abchee is a Professor of Clinical Cardiology with more than 50 Medical Journal Publications and Book Chapters in prestigious international medical journals. Before joining Harley Street Medical Centre, he was Director of Non Invasive Cardiology at the American University of Beirut Medical Center and Director of Echocardiography Laboratory at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City. He has overseen the training of many Cardiology Physicians and Cardiac Sonographers. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a Member of the American Society of Echocardiography. He holds active Medical Licenses and has practiced in Florida and Texas in the USA, in Lebanon and in the UAE. He has more than 20 years of expertise in Cardiology, Cardiac Imaging and all forms of Non Invasive Cardiac testing. He will be developing at Harley Street Medical Centre a State of the Art Cardiovascular Institute with a focus on Preventive Cardiology using the latest techniques in Cardiovascular Imaging, Biological and Genetic markers.
